LFC-0071 seeks approval to accept a tender for the management and storage of Brigade records.
This report updates the London Fire Commissioner sponsorshop policy, combining it for the first time with a revised version of the organisations code of practice on sponsorship and including a new checklist for London Fire Brigade staff to use when considering sponsorship opportunities.

This report seeks to enable applicants for trainee firefighter positions to demonstrate the required competence in English and Maths by means of GCSE examinations passes or certified achievement of Functional Skills level 2 in these subjects. Where such evidence is not available, candidates will continue to be required to pass the Brigade’s ability tests in English and Maths.

Following the most recent Deputy Commissioner appointments there are two vacant Assistant Commissioner posts that need filling now and in the very near future. The post of Head of Grenfell Tower Investigation and Review Team post was also evaluated as an Assistant Commissioner post but never recruited to substantively.
