Plug-in solar panels

What are plug-in solar panels?

Plug-in solar panels can be placed in sunny outdoor spots (a terrace, shed or outhouse roof, balcony etc) and plugged into a three-prong wall socket. Light from the sun hits the panels and generates energy, which flows into the electrical circuit for the home, providing electricity.

As they’re much smaller than the traditional roof-installed solar panels, they don’t generate enough energy to power your home entirely, but they could save you some money.
