Tanya Clarke

I join the Forum as a communications leader, bringing expertise in strategic engagement, crisis communications and institutional reform across high-profile public sector organisations. I have built my career at the intersection of public trust, community voice and organisational accountability, most recently serving in a senior leadership role at the Metropolitan Police shaping engagement during periods of intense scrutiny and reform.
I bring an understanding of how institutions can embed meaningful engagement beyond consultation, through co-design, evaluation and sustained relationship-building and with a strong commitment that collaboration, accountability and partnership are essential I look forward to working alongside the rest of the Forum to make London safer for all.
Francesca DelGuidice

I am a London based community educator and researcher with a strong focus on inclusive public history and community wellbeing. My work centres on accessibility, neurodivergent inclusion and mental health awareness, with a particular interest in Southwark, Westminster and the West End. I combine research, lived experience and community engagement to ensure that cultural, civic spaces and community offerings are welcoming, representative and accessible to a wide range of Londoners.
Adam Gabsi

I am Co-Chair of Inclusion London and a passionate advocate for the rights, safety and inclusion of Disabled people. Drawing on my lived experience as a wheelchair user, I work to challenge barriers and drive meaningful change. I am a leading campaigner for Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs), believing that no Disabled person should be left behind in an emergency. As a member of the London Fire Brigade Community Forum, I combine my commitment to Disabled people with my pride in the city that shaped me, helping to ensure London is safer, fairer and more inclusive for all.

Additionally, I am a Governor and Volunteer (two roles) at The Royal Free Hospital Foundation Trust which has four hospitals and numerous satellite services. I also support the NHS 111 service and the NHS Reasonable Adjustment Flag national rollout.
My hobbies include cooking and mountain climbing.
Sam Jennings

I bring a wealth of hands-on community experience to the Forum. Previously a member of the Steering Group, I spent a year feeding back on community engagement at fire stations and gaining a broad understanding of LFB’s many dimensions, from Control and fire dogs to London’s diverse fire stations.
With a background in running licensed premises and a thriving floristry business at a London train station, I understand the pressures of public-facing enterprise. Following the Grenfell Tower fire, I mobilised personal connections to support relief efforts, building lasting relationships. I’m a passionate disability rights activist focusing on accessibility and public transport. I’m committed to helping shape an inclusive, responsive fire and rescue service.
Chantelle John

I am Chantelle John, a resident of Elm Road in Wembley and a lead advocate for my community following the fire on Elm road in January 2024. My experience living through that incident, where cladding was a significant factor, has made me deeply passionate about fire safety and building regulations.
As a chair of the Community Forum, I aim to represent the voices of residents who have faced similar challenges. I am dedicated to working with London Fire Brigade to ensure that community feedback directly informs their strategies, particularly in protecting diverse and underrepresented groups across London.
Sian Rafferty-Mitchell

Hi I’m Sian.
Born and raised in London, I love my city and have joined the forum as I know we can make a difference and help make the vital work that LFB does safer and more impactful by getting the message of fire safety out there to the wider community.
Pat Warmington

I am an educator, community advocate and specialist in social justice and citizenship education. My commitment to empowering young people is deeply rooted in my firsthand experience of the 1981 New Cross Fire tragedy, where I was among the partygoers affected by this pivotal event in Black British history. This experience inspired a lifelong dedication to preserving the truth of the tragedy and the community's powerful response up to this day.
I use my unique perspective to bring history to life, promoting lessons of resilience, community cohesion, civic engagement and the power of positive collective action.
