Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters attended a fire at a flat on Ravensbourne Park in Catford.
Part of a second-floor flat was damaged by fire. One man was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade received the first of seven calls at 1928 and Control Officers mobilised crews from Forest Hill, Lewisham, New Cross and Beckenham fire stations to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 2108.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
