Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters responded to a grass fire near Scrubs Lane, North Kensington.
The fire impacted nearby rail services on the Elizabeth Line and Great Western Main Line into Paddington Railway Station. Around 380 passengers on a Elizabeth Line train stranded as a result of the fire were safely evacuated by the Brigade and Transport for London.
The Brigade was first called about the incident at 1611, and crews from Hammersmith, Paddington, Ealing and surrounding fire stations were mobilised to the scene. Firefighters had the incident under control by 2036.
