Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a block of flats on Maple Road in Southall.
A two roomed flat on the second floor was destroyed by the fire. There are no reports of any injuries.
Control Officers took the first of 26 calls at 1804 and mobilised crews from Southall and Northolt fire stations to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 1924.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and the cause has been recorded as undetermined.
