Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a two-storey commercial property on Springfield Road, Hayes.
A small part of the external fascia of the property was damaged by the fire. Various contents, including two skips and building materials, were destroyed by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
One of the Brigade’s 32-metre turntable ladders was used at the scene as an observation tower, providing the Incident Commander with an aerial view of the fire.
Control Officers took the first call at 2202, and the fire was extinguished by 2318. Crews from Southall, Hillingdon, Ealing and Hayes fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
