Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire affecting a range of sheds on Pinner Hill in Pinner.
Five wooden sheds at the rear of a property and around 30-metres of wooden fencing and trees were destroyed by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
Three gas cylinders were removed and cooled to an ambient temperature as a precaution, as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.
The Brigade’s Control Officers took the first of 25 calls to the fire at 2243 and sent crews from Harrow, Ruislip, Northolt and Hillingdon fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 0035.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
