Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a hotel on King's Cross Road in Farringdon.
A small part of a third floor room was damaged by fire.
The Brigade's 999 Control officers were first called at 2137 and mobilised crews from Euston, Soho and Kentish Town fire stations. The fire was under control by 2157.
The cause of the fire is believed to be due to the failure of a lithium battery power bank.
