Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a fire at a block of flats on Ayley Croft in Enfield.
Part of a five roomed flat on the third floor of the eleven storey building was damaged by the fire. There are no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade’s Control Officers took the first call to the fire at 2200 and gave fire survival guidance to those inside the property on how to stay safe before firefighters arrived. Crews from Enfield, Edmonton, Tottenham and surrounding fire stations to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 0043.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade's specialist fire investigators and the Metropolitan Police Service.
