Sadly, a man has died following a fire near Victoria Road in Mitcham.
The Brigade was called at 2337 and one fire engine from Wimbledon Fire Station attended. Firefighters left the scene by 0230.
The incident is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
