Five fire engines and around 30 firefighters attended a fire at a mixed-use building on North End Road in West Brompton.
The fire occurred in a building containing a commercial premises and flats. A flat on the lower ground floor was partially damaged by fire. One man was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service for smoke inhalation.
The Brigade received the first of five calls about the fire at 0301 and Control Officers mobilised crews from Fulham, Chelsea, Hammersmith and Kensington fire stations to the scene. A crew from Sutton Fire Station, who were on standby at Hammersmith, also attended.
The fire was extinguished by 0419.
