Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters are tackling a fire at a derelict building on Highgate Hill in Islington.
A small part of the ground and lower ground floor remains alight.
The Brigade was called at 0616 and Control Officers have mobilised crews from Holloway, Hornsey, Kentish Town and surrounding fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 0932.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
