Sadly, a man has died following a house fire on Lowther Road in Kingston.
Part of the ground floor of a semi-detached house was damaged by fire. A man was taken to hospital, where he sadly later died.
The Brigade was called at 1659 and the incident was under control by 1753. Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters from Kingston and Surbiton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
