Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on Apple Grove in Enfield.
Part of the roof in a loft conversion, in a two storey semi-detached house, was destroyed by fire.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers were first called at 1235 and deployed crews from Edmonton, Southgate and Tottenham fire stations. The fire was under control by 1334.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
