Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters are responding to a fire in an open area off Launders Lane.
The fire involves piles of waste left at the site. Crews are working to extinguish the fire whilst managing limited accessibility to the site.
The Brigade was first called about the fire at 1642, and crews from Wennington, Hornchurch, Dagenham and surrounding fire stations have been mobilised to the scene.
