Part of the first-floor and roof of a semi-detached house was damaged by fire. A vehicle was also destroyed by fire along with part of a second vehicle. Part of the roof of a neighbouring property was also damaged by fire.

Six people were assessed at the scene as a precaution but did not require hospital treatment.

The Brigade received the first of 19 calls about the fire at 0026 and Control Officers mobilised crews from East Ham, Plaistow and Barking fire stations to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 0144.
