Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters responded to a fire on Lansdowne Mews, Charlton.
The fire occurred in a mid-terraced house of two floors. The ground and first floor, as well as the buildings roof, were destroyed by the fire. Parts of the fascia on the adjoining buildings were damaged by fire.
Three adults and two children left the property before the Brigade arrived. There are no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade took the first of 10 calls reporting the fire at 0644. Control officers mobilised crews from East Greenwich, Greenwich, Plumstead and surrounding fire stations to the scene. Firefighters were able to bring the incident under control by 0928.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
