Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters attended a house fire on Stock Hill in Biggin Hill.
The second floor and roof of a three-storey detached house was damaged by fire along with part of the first floor. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade received the first of three calls at 0132 and Control Officers mobilised crews from Biggin Hill, Addington, Bromley and Orpington fire stations to the scene. A 32-metre turntable ladder from Forest Hill Fire Station also attended and was deployed as an observation tower to provide the Incident Commander with a greater situational awareness of the incident.
The fire was extinguished by 0405.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
