Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters responded to a fire on Luxemburg Gardens, Hammersmith.
The fire was located in a school building consisting of a basement and three floors. Part of the basement area was alight.
The Brigade was first called about the incident at 1106, and firefighters from Hammersmith, Chiswick and Fulham fire stations were sent to the scene. Crews had the incident under control by 1149
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
