Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a mid terrace house on St Stephen’s Road in East Ham.
Half of the first floor was damaged by the fire. Six people left the building before the Brigade arrived and were treated on scene by London Ambulance Service.
Control Officers took the first of ten calls at 0158 and mobilised crews from Plaistow, Stratford, East Ham and Leytonstone fire stations to the scene. The incident was over for firefighters at 0322.
The fire is believed to have been electrical.
