Premises Asset Replacement Works for Projects in 2022-23 and 2023-24 - London Fire Brigade Estate

This paper seeks approval to undertake key asset replacement and enhancement works across the London Fire Brigade (LFB) estate London Fire Commissioner (LFC) premises to avoid asset decline and meet the operational requirements from the estate. In addition, these works will support LFB to provide the best place to work and the training recommendations from the Her Majesty’s Chief inspector of Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS). This is the first of two papers on this subject.

Draft Assessment of Risk

This report presents a new draft Assessment of Risk in London for approval by the London Fire Commissioner. It has been produced to meet the requirements of the Fire and Rescue National Framework and will inform the development of the Commissioner’s next Community Risk Management Plan. The draft will be subject to formal public consultation in the summer and in the light of responses received, will be finalised later this year.

Internal Audit Quarter 1 Progress Report 2021-22

This report summarises the work carried out under the Internal Audit Shared Service Agreement by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC)’s Directorate of Audit, Risk and Assurance in the first quarter of 2021/22. It provides an assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control framework within the Brigade.

Implementation of the Portfolio Strategy - Phase 1

This report provides a summary of progress against the initial phase for implementing the Brigade’s Portfolio Management approach, first agreed as a concept in LFC-0510 in March 2021. It also provides a summary of the activities associated with the next phase (Phase 1, July – October ’21) and how they will be delivered.
