Grenfell Tower fire
On 14 June 2017 a fire broke out at Grenfell Tower in North Kensington killing 72 people. The Grenfell Tower Inquiry was set up to examine the circumstances leading up to and surrounding the fire. It has since been a catalyst for deep institutional transformation within the Brigade.
