Injuries and smoke inhalation
If your pet has been injured in a fire, or has been affected by smoke inhalation, take them to a vet as soon as possible for treatment.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) or People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) charities can offer help and advice.
Pet loss
If you’ve lost a pet or pets in a fire or flood, the Blue Cross offers a pet loss support service.
Medicines
If any medicine for your pet has been damaged or contaminated, take the medicine to your vet for safe disposal.
