In the event of a serious or suspicious fire, we may send our specially trained officers from the Fire Investigation Team (FIT).
They can provide extra support to the police investigation and help to identify the origin, development, and cause of a fire. Arson (deliberate fire setting) is a criminal offence.
Please do not enter the premises if there are sealed off areas as it may be unsafe and hinder the investigation. Officers will keep you informed and you will be told when you’re allowed to enter.
