Sadly, a woman has died following a fire at a house converted into flats on Upper Tollington Road in Hornsey.
Part of a lower ground floor flat was damaged by the fire. Sadly, one woman was declared dead at the scene.
Control Officers took the first of three calls at 1359 and mobilised four fire engines and around 25 firefighters from Hornsey, Tottenham, Walthamstow and Homerton fire stations to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 1501.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
