Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Hertford Road in Dalston.
Half of a first-floor flat was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade received the first of five calls at 1921 and Control Officers mobilised crews from Homerton, Stoke Newington and Soho fire stations to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 2026.
The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
