Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters attended a fire at a mixed-use building on Craven Park Road in Harlesden.
The fire involved a three-storey building, made up of a shop on the ground floor and a flat above. Rooms on the first and second floors were damaged by fire along with a staircase between the two floors.
One man was rescued from a first-floor window by firefighters via a short-extension ladder. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade received the first of 10 calls at 2133 and Control Officers mobilised crews from Park Royal, Willesden, North Kensington and Wembley fire stations to the scene. The fire was brought under control by 2241.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police.
