We have a dedicated Community Engagement team, who work to ensure that we listen to our communities, and are responsive to their needs. You can contact the team on community.engagement@london-fire.gov.uk.
In addition to assisting with the Brigade's localised engagement throughout London, and supporting residents following incidents, the team also manage specific projects.This includes our community boxing and football programmes, which provide free-of-charge sessions to young people in target areas, as well as welfare sessions for firefighters. Up to the end of 2024, our boxing programme had reached over 300 young people, mostly from disadvantaged backgrounds who may not otherwise have access to organised sport. Our football programme is new for 2025, and is attending schools and youth clubs to provide free football sessions with qualified coaches.
