Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to a fire on Greenford Road in Greenford.
Firefighters tackled a fire within the ducting of a ground floor restaurant, with maisonettes above. Around ten people evacuated the building before the Brigade arrived, there were no injuries reported.
The Brigade's Control Office was called at 1414 and sent fire crews from Southall, Northolt, Park Royal and other surrounding Fire Stations to the scene. The fire was brought under control at 1542.
The cause of the fire will be investigated by the Brigade's Fire Investigation Unit.
