Firefighters responded to an incident involving hazardous materials on London Street, in the City of London.
Specialist officers carried out a systematic sweep of the area. Firefighters isolated two empty containers as a precaution, preparing them for later removal. No elevated readings of hazardous materials were detected at the scene. One man was treated on scene by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and taken to hospital as a precaution.
The Brigade was first called about the incident at 1333, and crews were on scene until 1509.
