Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a shop fire at Kilburn rail station on Kilburn High Road.

Most of a shop was destroyed by fire. A 25 metre cordon was put in place.

The Brigade's 999 Control officers were called at 0158 and deployed crews from West Hampstead, Willesden, Paddington and North Kensington fire stations. The fire was under control by 0323.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental and due to combustible items places too close to a chiller unit.
