Six fire engines and around 30 firefighters responded to a fire at a disused boat house off The Charter Road, Woodford.
The fire was located in a building consisting of two floors, which was completely destroyed by the fire. There are no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was first called about the incident at 0315, and crews from Woodford, Chingford, Walthamstow and surrounding fire stations attended the scene. Firefighters had the incident under control by 0728.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
