Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters tackled a house fire on Northumberland Avenue in Isleworth.
The roof of a semi-detached house was alight. There are currently no reports of any injuries.
One of the Brigade's 32-metre turntable ladders was used at the scene as an observation platform to give incident commanders an aerial view of the incident. This helps their situational awareness and ability to develop tactics.
The Brigade's Control Officers took the first of eight calls to the fire at 2143 and sent fire crews from Heston, Chiswick, Feltham, Twickenham and surrounding fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 2250.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
