Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters attended a house fire on Arragon Road in East Ham.
Part of the first floor of a terraced house was damaged by fire. One woman was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade was called at 0220 and Control Officers mobilised crews from Plaistow, East Ham, Stratford and Barking fire stations to the scene. The fire was brought under control by 0318.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and Metropolitan Police.
