Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Hargwyne Street in Brixton.
Part of the first floor and half of a first-floor roof of a terraced house were damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade’s Control Officers were called at 2240 and sent crews from Brixton, Clapham, Peckham and Battersea fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 0105.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and caused by an electrical fault.
