Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to a fire at a high-rise commercial building on Bishopsgate in the City of London.
Crews have extinguished a fire in a plant room in the sub-basement of the building. There have been no reports of any injuries.
Firefighters are now leaving the scene but some traffic disruption can still be expected in the area at this time.
The Brigade was called at 1509 and Control Officers mobilised crews from Dowgate, Whitechapel, Shoreditch, Euston and surrounding fire stations to the scene. The fire was brought under control by 1646.
