Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a block of flats on Anchor Street in Bermondsey.
A small part of a flat on the third floor of the seven storey block of flats was destroyed by fire.
The Brigade's 999 Control officers received their first call alerting them to the fire at 1848. They mobilised fire crews from Dockhead, Old Kent Road, Deptford, New Cross fire stations. The fire was under control by 1927.
