Sadly, a woman has died following a fire at a house on Broome Road in Hampton.
Half of the first floor of a mid-terraced house was damaged by the fire. Tragically, one woman was declared dead at the scene.
Control Officers took the first of three calls at 0121 (09/11) and mobilised four fire engines and around 25 firefighters from Twickenham, Feltham, Richmond and Southall fire stations to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 0400.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
