Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters attended a fire at a flat on Beechwood Mews in Edmonton.
Half of a first-floor flat was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1217 and Control Officers mobilised crews from Edmonton, Tottenham and Enfield fire stations to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 1302.
The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
