Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire involving multiple sheds alight on Osborne Road in Hounslow.
A shed was destroyed by fire and half of two further sheds were also damaged. There were no reports of any injuries.
A 25-metre cordon was put in place and firefighters cooled two gas cylinders to an ambient temperature as a precaution, as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.
The Brigade’s Control officers took the first of 13 calls to the fire at 1616 and mobilised crews from Heston, Feltham, Twickenham and Southall fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1729.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
