Restaurant fire - Notting Hill

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters responded to a fire on Golborne Road, Notting Hill.  

The fire occurred in a mixed-use building of four floors. A length of ducting at the rear of a ground floor restaurant was destroyed by fire. Around 50 people left the property before firefighters arrived on scene. There are no reports of any injuries.  

The Brigade was first called about the incident at 2135, and crews had the fire under control by 2232. Firefighters from North Kensington, Paddington and Kentish Town fire stations attended the scene.  

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
