Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire on Wyld Way in Wembley.
The whole of the ground floor and part of the first floor in a two storey house were destroyed by fire. A small part of the ground floor in an adjacent property was also damaged in the blaze.
One man suffering from smoke inhalation was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service. One woman left the property before the Brigade arrived.
The Brigade's 999 Control officers received the first of eight calls at 2345. They deployed crews from Wembley, Park Royal and North Kensington fire stations. The incident was under control by 0129.
