Warehouse fire - Tufnell Park

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters responded to a fire on Burghley Yard, Tufnell Park. 

The fire was located in the roof of a warehouse, consisting of two floors, currently under refurbishment. A small part of the roof was damaged by the fire. Around 11 people left the building before crews arrived. There are no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was first called about the fire at 1405, and Control Officers mobilised crews from Kentish Town, Islington, Holloway and surrounding stations to the scene. Firefighters had the incident under control by 1612.

The fire is believed to have been accidental and was caused by hot works.
