Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a golf course on New Road in Rainham.
A small area of around 25 square metres was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade’s Control Officers were called at 1219 and mobilised crews from Wennington, Hornchurch, Dagenham and Barking fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1622.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
