Four fire engines and 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a terraced house on Paddington Road in Marylebone.
Part of a four room flat on the second floor was damaged by the fire. One man was treated on scene by London Ambulance Service.
Control Officers took the first of two calls at 1757 and mobilised firefighters from Paddington, Hammersmith and North Kensington fire stations to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 1914.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
