Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters attended a house fire on Thornwood Road in Lewisham.

The Brigade was called at 1502 and Control Officers mobilised crews from Lee Green, Greenwich, Forest Hill and Deptford fire stations to the scene. A 32-metre turntable ladder from Greenwich Fire Station also attended and was used as an observation tower to provide the Incident Commander with a greater situational awareness of the incident. The fire was extinguished by 1640.
