Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Broad Lane in Tottenham.
Half of a ground-floor flat was damaged by fire. A man left the building before the Brigade arrived and was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade’s Control Officers took the first of nine calls to the fire at 1730 and mobilised crews from Tottenham, Stoke Newington and Holloway fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1829.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
