Sadly a woman has died following a flat fire on Fleming Road in Southall last night (12 June).
Firefighters evacuated residents in neighbouring properties after a first floor flat was significantly damaged by fire. Sadly one woman was pronounced dead at the scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade’s Control Officers took the first of eight calls at 1952 and mobilised crews from Ealing, Northolt and Wembley fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 2103.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
