Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire in the loft space of a first floor flat on Woodlands Street in Hither Green.
Half of a loft space was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade’s Control Officers were called at 1535 and mobilised crews from Lewisham, Croydon, Deptford and Beckenham fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1624.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
